New features to look forward to in 2024

Q: How can we expect Artlist to evolve in 2024?

This year, we’re going to build upon our reputation as a leading platform for royalty-free music, sound effects, footage, and templates by introducing new features and capabilities that seamlessly integrate into the creative workflow of our users.

There’s a huge range of creators who use our platform — from YouTubers and TikTokers to boutique creative agencies and in-house creative teams for huge global brands. This year, we’re putting you — each and every individual creator with your own distinct passions, skills, and needs — at the center of our innovation. There’ll be something for everyone in our product roadmap for 2024.

At the core of our product strategy is a focus on further improving your experience on Artlist and expanding creative possibilities for video content creators. We’ll see a completely new search and discovery interface leveraging advanced AI technologies. This will give creators a smooth, simple, and completely personalized experience, empowering you to find the perfect sound or footage effortlessly.

We’re also planning to further expand our content library to include an even wider range of creative assets, providing a comprehensive toolkit for video creators.

Alongside these strategic initiatives, we remain focused on our foundations — what we refer to as the “brilliant basics”. We’re constantly working on improving the way that you experience Artlist, looking at how you use the product, and finding ways to make your search and navigation even better and faster.

We’re expanding our payment methods to offer even greater flexibility to our users, and another top priority is to scale our platform to accommodate a growing user base — this will help us improve overall performance and ensure a robust infrastructure to support the growth of the business.

Collaboration tools for Business customers

Q: Artlist has launched a new Business offering. What are the latest features to support big brands and business customers?

Our commitment to simplicity and user-centric design is what helps make Artlist the go-to platform for businesses that want to create incredible content friction-free, through a multi-user account.

Our Business offering already includes unlimited access to industry-leading music, SFX, footage, templates, and plugins. This year, we plan to roll out several features that will help our Business customers work smarter and faster.

We understand that collaboration is at the heart of many creative projects, and our goal is to provide a platform where creative teams can effortlessly come together to bring their visions to life. To support this, we’ll be launching a suite of cutting-edge collaboration tools that will empower our business customers to work together seamlessly on the same projects. These include features for real-time collaboration, enabling teams to review materials, share ideas, and collectively contribute to the creative process.

Q: How does user feedback shape product development?

User feedback played a crucial role in shaping our 2024 product roadmap and will continue to do so as we keep collecting insights from a range of sources. We run surveys, leverage forums, and conduct user interviews, as well as closely monitoring social channels and interactions with our customer support. The feedback loop extends to our Business customers who are in direct contact with our product team and account executives.

These diverse sources of data help give us a comprehensive understanding of user needs and preferences. By continuing to integrate these insights into our plans, we’ll make sure that the 2024 roadmap is a collaborative effort, evolving in line with the real-world experiences and expectations of our users.
