To celebrate International Women’s Day, check out these pumping songs from some of Artlist’s biggest female artists. Here’s a selection of some of our favorites — you can check out the full collection and download any of the songs to use in your video projects.
From powerful ballads to Koeran-inspired R&B, you’ll find high-quality songs from every genre that are so good you won’t be able to stop listening.
BAER – B****-mode
Born in Taiwan, raised in Canada, and now living in L.A, BAER’s music transcends cultural boundaries with an infusion of styles and influences. Switching seamlessly between a relaxed rap style and sexy Hip Hop vocals, BAER is an exceptional talent that effortlessly creates catchy, empowered earworms; definitely one to watch.
‘B****-Mode’ offers a powerful beat, groovy melody, and, as you might have guessed, explicit lyrics. Don’t worry; you can also get an instrumental version of the track if you need.
Ofrin – Make it, Break it
Ofrin, aka Ofri Brin, is a Berlin-based singer-songwriter with a massive catalog of electro-pop tunes for you to choose from, each with a fun beat and lively vocals. The use of brass instruments and percussion in Ofrin’s work gives a vintage electro-dance feel to the music, creating a bold sound similar to La Roux or CHVRCHES.
Filled with claps, snaps, and plenty of synth, ‘Make it, Break it’ has empowering lyrics and a girl-boss attitude.
Maya Isacowitz – Sparkle
Maya Isacowitz is an Israeli singer-songwriter producing English language folk and pop songs. Maya takes her love of global music and infuses her work with upbeat energy, giving a fresh take on the country-pop-rock sound.
‘Sparkle’ is a confident song about breaking free and shining; a fantastic example of powerful beats and inspiring lyrics you can expect from Maya’s work.

Joy Hanna – Liar Liar
Based in Houston, Texas, Joy Hanna is a Christian-Pop singer-songwriter with country and rock music influences. The radio-friendly tracks grab your attention with Joy’s soulful voice and a classic guitar sound; think HAIM vocals with the guitar riffs of Michelle Branch.
‘Liar Liar’ is an anthem for the broken-hearted, warning us to ‘Look out for the lies; they’re wearing a disguise, promising you life, and killing you inside’.
TINAMINA – Dead to Me
TINAMINA is a Korean-American singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles, California, with two albums of all killer no-filler tracks. TINAMINA’s fiery rap style blends American R&B styles with K-Pop influences for a unique and vibrant sound, as she switches seamlessly between Korean and English vocals.
‘Dead to Me’ is an inspired take on getting over someone, with TINAMINA’s relaxed vocals giving feelings of indifference and apathy rather than heartbreak.

MARLOE. – Remember Me
MARLOE. is relatively new to the scene, but she is taking audiences by storm with her extraordinary vocal range, switching from bouncy pop-rock styles to ambitious ballads with ease. MARLOE.’s first release ‘The Future is Now’ saw her likened to electro-pop titans such as Vera Blue and Lorde, and we couldn’t agree more.
MARLOE. combines haunting vocals and electro-pop with powerful anthemic lyrics to epic effect in her track ‘Remember Me’.
Terry Poison – Smack Snack
Terry Poison was an Israeli electro band featuring the stunning vocals of Louise Kahn, with Anna Landesman on synth bass. The band sadly ended in 2015 after 12 years, but their songs live on. The modern electro-rock sound has a retro feel, while the vocals create a modern pop style; think Kim Wilde, produced by Daft Punk.
‘Smack Snack’ creates the sound and feel of a 90’s drug-fuelled rave with its strong base and upbeat rhythms.

If heavier rock is more your thing, then Estelle Mey’s catalog of grungy electronic-rock tunes is the collection for you. The deep guitar sounds, synth, and percussion are used to fantastic effect backing up Estelle’s gritty punk voice, creating the 90’s girl-rock vibe of P J Harvey and Garbage, with a bit of Slipknot thrown in, and it really works.
‘The Key’ is an emotional rollercoaster ride as Estelle’s lyrics search for meaning through a dark, gritty tone and sexy bass.
