More about Johan Kok

Johan Kok grew up in South Africa with a zoologist dad who he spent a lot of time in the bush with. It was his dad who introduced him to photography, which later grew into a dream of being a wildlife filmmaker. Eventually, that dream transformed into his own small video production business in Auckland, New Zealand (https://wildimages.co).

In his spare time, he gets involved with conservation projects and local short films as well as doing background extra work on international productions from time to time. His passion for fishing came from his mum and along with filmmaking resulted in his small but growing YouTube channel Crazy About Fly Fishing.
